Do you feel stuck? Today you’re going to get unstuck!
Do this :
If you could have anything you want, what would it be?
It’s okay to be selfish in this challenge. It can be anything you want. Do you want to make more money, lose weight, stop smoking, you name it. The sky is the limit! The only rule is that you have to pick one thing before you move on to the next step.
There are tons of material out there on how you to do or get that thing you just picked. People are doing exactly that thing, experts wrote books on that very topic. You’re going to find those people and copy what they do. Google your choice, right now!
Next time someone asks you how you are. Don’t just say, I’m fine. Be more detailed.
Prepare your answer. Here’s an example : – Well I’ve finally decided to to lose some weight, I’m following this amazing health coach on line and I’m changing my eating habits. So I’m getting there, thank you for asking. How are you?
Remember that what you say to others becomes your own truth in the end. Write down your own answer, right now!
Realize that you are now a grown up. That’s why so many of us don’t get what we want. We forget that we used to have someone tell us what to do. So you need to start setting up some rules for yourself. Stop waiting for inspiration. Start doing some uncomfortable stuff.
People in general get stuck in routines, that’s why we get bored and stuck. So what you need to do is to change your daily routine. This new thing you’ve decided to do should be as automated as brushing your teeth. I’m using a tool that I call “Buck it or Fuck it Calendar Tool”, It helps me stay focused. Some experts say that when you have a new idea you have 5 seconds to act on it. If you don’t, odds are that you never will.
I have a little trick that I use. When I get an idea I send myself a note on messenger. This is a great method and it actually makes Facebook useful.
