May 17th 2017 was the day I decided to apply the Brad Pitt Workout Routine as my daily workout. I did some research on the actual program that Brad Pitt used to prepare for his role in the legendary movie “Fight Club”. I intend to release “before and after” pictures when the actual experiment is over. My philosophy is simple. I go public with what I want to change in my life because that keeps me accountable for my decisions. I’m okay with me failing, as long as I give it my best. It’s about improving not about taking over the world!
The most talked about diets among successful people and scientists these days is the intermittent fasting. So I decided to do this along with my new workout challenge.
Right now I’m in my third week of my workout and training routine and I’ve already lost 4,4 pounds or 2 kilos. I’m also noting increase in strength when doing my exercises. So for now I’m content.
The intermittent fasting makes me feel like I’m walking around on an empty stomach. I haven’t felt bloated once since I started with this fasting method. The way I go about it is that I eat between 12 at noon every day and 6pm at night. Then I only drink water for 16 hours. It is much easier than I thought it would be and I never feel like I starve myself. I haven’t noticed any change in my energy level during the day. One thing that I notice is that when it’s time to go to bed at night it takes me about 1 minute to fall asleep after my head hits the pillow. It’s not a surprise though, I am getting up at 4:30am and I go to bed around 10pm. So in average I get 6:30 hours of sleep every night. This works out fine for me right now, but I have a feeling that I’m going to aim for the traditional 8 hours per night. why? Because I like sleep and I believe it’s healthy for you. I could see myself continuing with the intermittent fasting in the future. Up til now I have only felt positive side effects from doing it.
