So here are the bucket list tools that I’ve created. They’re not for everyone I realize that. But if If you are one of the souls out there who would like to experiment with manifesting your dreams, then this tool is for you so keep on reading.
The first tool is the “Bucket Brainstorm”. This is a sheet where you can write down anything that you could come up with. One of the people I studied in my research was Ben Nemtin who is one of the guys from the “The Buried Life”. One of the things he recommend is that you write down what you’d like to do. Ben and his friends had no rules for their list. They wrote things like, go to the moon. It didn’t bring them all the way to the moon, yet! But it took them places they never would have gone without their list. I started Welcome to Insight to study and copy successful people and their strategies and then apply what they do to my own life. It’s all a big experiment! The “Bucket Brainstorm” sheet is a tool where you should write all the sane and crazy thing you want to do in or with your life. The list should also be filled with tons of small things. Nothing is either to big or to small. Be completely free and when you’re ready for an adventure, just pick one from the list and go for it. I just started mine this is what it looks like :
Some of the things on the list are written in red. Those are the things that I’m saying goodbye to, they are part of what Scott Jones calls the #fuckitlist.
“Life is to short to do things that you don’t like. Close your eyes and inhale deeply… think about one thing that you want to let go of right now… Now exhale hard and let it go man and it’s gone from your life for ever!”
I’m thinking that my Brainstorm Bucket list will be full of red notes in the future. Get rid of the bad things and replace them with good ones. That’s what I call the road of constant improvement…
If you want to have your own copy of the Bucket Brainstorm sheet. Then sign up on the e-mail list and I’ll send it to you. Everything here on Welcome to Insight is for free and your e-mail will be treated with integrity and respect.
The second tool is the “WTI Bucket list”. This is a compilation of all the research I did. It’s the sum of all the speeches and articles I listened to and read. When I first started my research my thoughts were that a bucket list is for rich people who wants to jump from airplanes and walk the Chinese wall in their underwear just because they can. But the more I studied the more I realized that it could be so much more than that. So I made my own version of a bucket list. Mikki Williams who was one of the people I studied was talking about how you should get into the details of your dreams to make them manifest. That’s part of why I created this tool. I wanted it to be more than just a list of shallow things I want to do before I croak. I want my tools to be useful for me and you. It should be something that I can use to bring change into my life and maybe also yours. This is what it looks like :
In his Tedx talk, this Australian bloke Travis Bell speaks about something that he calls the reversal bucket list and the importance to leaving a legacy. I’m thinking that when it’s time for my own funeral, my family can put my “Bucket Brainstorm” list somewhere where everyone can have a look at it. It’s going to be a big part of who I am in the end.
